Dr David Robson
Pathologist
Dr David Robson MBBS (FRCPA) graduated from the University of Queensland in 1988. After several clinical years in Australia and the United Kingdom he undertook specialist anatomical pathology training in Western Australia attaining fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia in 2001. For over a decade Dr Robson worked for corporate pathology practices on the Gold Coast, including helping to establish a large multidisciplinary laboratory. He has extensive experience in fine needle cytopathology and dermatopathology.
Michael Hague
Laboratory Manager
Michael Hague commenced as the laboratory manager with Gold Coast Pathology in 2019. He has a wealth of scientific experience in anatomical pathology, and has worked in multiple states within both the public and private pathology sector. Michael has worked in pathology since 2002 and brings years of skills and knowledge to the laboratory. He is dedicated to ensuring the laboratory operates to the highest quality standard.
Sharon Pickles
Business Development Manager
Sharon Pickles began working on the Gold Coast in 1997 in the medical industry as a Pharmaceutical Representative before moving into a Business Development Manager (Pathology) role in 2004. She now has over 16 years’ experience in Business Development Management and is thrilled to be working for Gold Coast Pathology and helping to provide a personalised, professional local pathology service to the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers.
